BOO! It’s me, the MIA blogger! Oh ya’ll, you have no idea what the last week and a half has been like. I had been trying to pack up some of my house, but my husband kept telling me to wait and let the movers do it. To make a long story short, I wish I had not listened to him and done it myself. Last Monday, I had two sets of movers in my house. One was loading a van to go to a condo in Dallas, and the other had two of the fastest packers in the South, packing up my house to go to Nashville. Can I just tell you that the two packers were 78 and 80 year old women. They were adorable, but I couldn’t keep up with all that was going on. Needless to say, a good bit of our things ended up not going where they were supposed to.
So, I haven’t had time to blog or have not had internet. We are in Nashville now, staying with friends, because our house is under some construction and being painted. We can’t really unpack anything except the kitchen now. We have one more day here, then we are off to Florida to celebrate our grand son’s second birthday. I cannot wait to get there, because I am exhausted. This is all self inflicted too!!!
Anyway, I had to share this beautiful scarf that the sweet people of VIDA sent me. I have worn it with just about everything lately. I wish you could feel how soft it is. The designers at VIDA are artists , including painters, photographers, graphic designers, sculptors, architects, textiles and print designers from all around the world. They partner with Vida to get exposure and an opportunity to make some extra money. Vida also supplies them with literacy and math programs. Another company giving back…I love it!
The line includes scarves and tops, all priced between 40 and 95 dollars. Again, I am a huge supporter of lines helping people. These make beautiful gifts. Please check out their website, and read more about them. I love all of the scarves!!!!!
Hope you all have a great day! I can’t promise I will post on Friday or next week, but I promise I will try!
