MARKS AND SPENCER DENIM
Happy Hump Day everyone! I am so excited because I am headed back to New York tomorrow to meet my daughter for a little Mom/Daughter time! She has business there and is speaking on a panel, so I will get to go and hear her speak. It’s also Fashion Week, so hopefully, I might try to get into a show. One thing I will be packing are these super flattering jeans from Marks & Spencer. I had not ordered jeans from M&S before because quite frankly, I thought they wouldn’t fit me right. Well, I was wrong! These jeans are amazing and fit me perfectly.
Jeans can be a little tricky as we all know. I think finding a good fitting jean is like trying on bathing suits. You have to try several on to find “the one.” Whenever I find a great fitting jean, I try to buy a dark and light wash of the same pair. The pair I am wearing is one of those pairs! These jeans are very slim through the hips down to the ankle, with a slightly more fitted shape than the standard skinny. There is the right amount of stretch, making them very comfortable. Sizing at Marks & Spencer are all UK sizing. I am usually a 0 in US sizes. I got a size 6 UK, and they fit just fine! This particular pair comes in black and white as well. I paired the jeans with this adorable striped round neck sweater. I love sweaters that look like they are layered. The gold buttons and red trim make this sweater the perfect Spring addition to my wardrobe!
How cute are my girls? You all remember my sweet Evie from this post. This is Evie’s equally sweet Mama, Jenica. Honestly, she will laugh when she sees that I described her as sweet! She actually is, but we have an extra special fun relationship where we tease each other a lot! Usually, I usually call her my little, b*tch of a daughter in law and she calls me the same back as her mother in law! She is the best, and I am so grateful to have these sweet people in my life! We had a relaxing afternoon shopping and eating cake pops! Evie already has a black belt in shopping at three years old and an opinion to go with it!
Jenica is wearing the Mid Rise Super Skinny Jean in olive that looks so cute on her! Get this; they come in ten colors! The floral print blouse is the perfect companion to the olive jean, but can be worn with any color jeans! Evie is wearing this adorable frilly denim overall. I had ordered her several long sleeve tees, but she had a fit to wear this mermaid sequin tee! Let me tell you; the girl is obsessed with mermaids and princesses!
I encourage you to try Marks & Spencer if you haven’t ever ordered from them. The quality of everything I’ve ever ordered is excellent and so are the price points. There is something for everyone in your family!
Hope you all have a great day! Thank you so much for reading!
Thank you, Marks & Spencer, for sponsoring this post!

Enjoy your blog and it’s always fun to see photos of children. It is so refreshing to see a child dressed like a CHILD, rather than a 30 year old.
Love the skinny jeans on the grown-ups, and I am happy NOT to see them on the wee one. The little girl is a doll, and the outfit is sweet and perfect.
Your perspective is always fresh. Your approach is at once aspirational and down to earth; it goes well with my morning coffee. Cheers!

Hi, Rosanne! You have made my morning with this sweet comment! If I could, I would dress those grandchildren in smocked handmade dresses all of the time! I think these little denim overalls are so cute though with the flutter sleeve! So funny, I dressed my babies (even the boys) in smocked and embroidered day gowns. I don’t know if anyone (except in the South) does that anymore. When my grandson was born, my daughter in law said “no way” to the day gowns on him.
Anyway, thank you so much for your sweet comments! I love to hear anything from a reader. Sometimes you just don’t know if anyone cares or is reading, so I thank you so much! Have a great day! xx
