NEW YEAR’S EVE LOOKS WITH CHIC AT EVERY AGE
Happy Friday, everyone! I have to apologize for hitting up your inbox so much this week. It was not my plan, but sometimes the content calendar does not work out the right way. I have one more post next week and then I am going to take the rest of the week off because I am worn out! I honestly want to clean out closets and drawers and then be lazy without opening up my computer at all. The Chic at Every Age girls wanted to show you some  New Year’s Eve looks. We all chose our favorite piece from Rachel Zoe that we would wear to celebrate NYE.
All you need is a little sparkle
I am not the biggest fan of ringing in the New Year out on the town. We like to either go to dinner early or have a few people over to our home to celebrate, which is what we are doing this year. I think dressing for New Year’s Eve is pretty simple. In my opinion, all you need is a little bit of sparkle or shine, and you are good to go.
What the girls chose to wear
Natalie, The Fashion Hour, chose my favorite dress for her New Year’s look. I love this dress not only for the leopard print (duh!) but because it can be worn almost all year long. To make it a little more glitzy, I would throw on a fur (real or faux) vest or add a belt with stones.
Samantha, Style of Sam, wore a bronze lurex jumpsuit and an eyelash fringe jacket for a chic boho look.
Heather, So Heather, is glammed up in a gold tank, sequin jacket, and leather pants.
I am wearing a metallic lace fringe hem dress that is so fun. The movement of the fringe is fantastic when you walk or dance. I think it is appropriate for ages 20 through 70! I wish I were going out to wear it, but I let my daughter borrow it because she loves it. I paired it with a simple strappy sandal and a velvet bag.
Celebrate whether you go out or stay in
If you are going out to a big event, sparkle it up! But even if you are having dinner with friends, a sparkly tank, sweater, or jacket can be perfect with jeans. Just put on a paper crown, blow a party horn, and throw some glitter, then do what I do and go to bed before midnight! It’s fun to go to bed in one year and wake up in the next (it’s really because I can’t stay up past eleven!).
I am having lunch with these sweet girls today to shoot more photos for January. The pressure is on after today, and I am going to have to bust a hump this weekend. Are you all ready? I hope you can relax a bit and enjoy the season. I hope you all have a great weekend!

Beautiful! I wish I could afford a $465 dress for one night. I’d love a recommendation for a “save” dress to go with the “splurge”.
