COLLEEN ROTHSCHILD SKINCARE

Travel Kit

Good Morning Everyone! How was your weekend? I flew to Destin, Florida on Friday to attend the wedding of a very good friend’s daughter. I stayed with two of my other great friends from Birmingham and had a blast. We all had not been together for a while, so it was three nights of staying up late and chatting. The wedding was beautiful and has got me a bit nervous but excited for our daughter’s wedding that is just weeks away now.

One of the perks of blogging is that I get to try out products to review. I have had a lot of beauty products sent my way as of late. There are great products in most lines, and I do like to try different ones. Once in a while, a brand knocks my socks off, and I become obsessed. Colleen Rothschild is one of those brands! I was so lucky to have had a meeting with her in person at the Reward Style Conference I attended a few weeks back. Not only is this brilliant woman smart and so passionate about skincare, but can you get over how gorgeous she is. Y’all, she is in her early fifties and looks exactly like the picture above (but with shorter hair now). She is one of the kindest humans I’ve ever had the pleasure to meet too! She has more than twenty years of expertise in the beauty industry.

I have been using her Radiant Cleansing Balm for about a year now and have loved it! I told Colleen that I wanted to frost a cupcake with it and eat it because it smells that good! It smells like the best spa you have ever been to, mixed with spice! This balm dissolves eye and face makeup to clear up any congested pores. It balances the skin leaving it so soft. This can be used morning and night and comes with a muslin cloth (so much gentler for your skin).

I am now using the Face Oil No. 9. I am a huge “oil” girl, and this one combines nine transformative oils that provide so much moisture to boost and nourish the skin, including Omegas 3, 6 & 9, Black Seed Oil and Marula Oil. Ideally, this should be used at night when skin is most receptive to renewal, but I am so dry, that I use in the morning too. It sinks in and doesn’t leave you feeling oily This can also be used on cuticles and flyaway hair. I use this on my neck and the back of my hands as well. I am so dry around my nose for some reason that I will sometimes dab the oil on right before I apply my foundation, so I don’t look so flaky.

Another product that I am now using is the Mandelic Acid Radiance Serum. I had not heard of this before I met with Colleen. She recommended that I try and use this. Mandelic Acid helps in promoting cellular turnover to address photo aging, uneven skin texture, and fine lines. I am all about solving those problems! Mandelic Acid is a  very gentle and highly effective Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHA).

These are just a few of the products that I love from the brand, but there are so much more that I want to start using, like the Clarifying Detox Mask and the Intense Hydrating Mask. My mom will be so proud of me, because as I have mentioned before that is my mom’s favorite thing to ask me…” have you used a mask lately?” With my daughter’s wedding coming up, I am going to add these to the repertoire!

One of the best products that Colleen Rothschild offers is what I brought to Florida with me. It is the Discovery Collection. This is a seven piece kit filled with her must have skincare products in a travel bag ready to throw in your suitcase. Luckily for me, it has the Dual Enzyme Polish that is a great exfoliant made with fruit enzymes. I used it before the wedding we attended to slough off the dry skin on my nose (what is up with that?). I think I need a consultation with Colleen about this problem I am having!

Colleen is offering my readers 20% off all regular priced items today through Monday the 15th with the code MIDDLE20. This is a great time to try out these products. I hope you will give them a try (especially the cleansing balm or travel kit). The candles are amazing too!!!

Thank you so much to Colleen Rothschild for sponsoring this post! I love these products!
