CHIC AT EVERY AGE // CHIC COVER-UP
Happy Saturday, ladies! I am posting a day late because my house has been a wild, fun circus this week! More on that later. First of all, you all are the sweetest women ever! Your kind comments from Tuesday’s post made my heart melt, and I thank you for each one of them! You all are the sweetest group of women, and I only wish that we could all meet up in person! Wouldn’t that be amazing? Maybe one day!
Today, I am with my Chic at Every Age girls to show you all a chic cover-up for the pool, beach, or backyard. Summer is definitely here, and we all need a chic cover-up or two to get us through the heat. We all loved this plunge neck and slit skirt cover-up available in black, auburn, and beautiful blue. Can you believe that this girl is only $68? She looks a lot more expensive in person. I am wearing this one-piece suit underneath (that I will show in a post to come). My sandals are almost sold out, but these are just as cute, and I found a very similar pearl and leather necklace as mine.
A Few More Of My Favorite Cover-Ups At The Bottom Of This Post
How adorable is this picnic situation? This is from a woman-owned company called PICK-NIC & CO, based in Fort Worth. Pick-Nick & Co will come to your house or anywhere you want to have a picnic and set up this gorgeous picnic table with all of the accessories you see here. I mean, the plates, glassware, silverware, candlesticks, pillows, rugs, etc. This would be so fun for a backyard birthday, anniversary, cocktail party, or even a proposal (if you need to help out a son or friend)! To book your own picnic setup, message them on Instagram and receive $25 off if you mention that you saw them in my blog post!
Fun and Crazy Weekend
My week was crazy busy, as I said above. We have had my son and family and my in-laws staying here. We had family dinners every night and were busy during the day. The kids went to a sports camp and were busy during the day. They brought their six-month-old Cavalier puppy with them, which I was so happy for them to do so until Thursday. The poor dog had diarrhea ALL DAY long and on two of my rugs and on our closet carpet (so bad that we have ordered new carpet for our closet!). The joys of having dogs (but I wouldn’t want to be without one)!
My in-laws left yesterday, and the grandkids leave tomorrow. My daughter will be moving in for a few days while her new house gets painted. We have a revolving door over here, but it’s always fun (and tiring)! We are planning on spending the day by the pool today with everyone. It’s finally a sunny weekend!
I hope you all have a great weekend! Thank you again for being so precious! xx
