How to wear a hat- Why to wear a hat- Chic at Every Age

Happy Friday Ya’ll! Hope you have had a great week and are looking forward to the weekend. The Chic at Every Age girls are here to show you how cute a hat can be, especially during the winter. Hats can be so stylish, but can also help keep your noggin warm! Oh…and if you didn’t get a chance to wash your hair, a hat is there to save the day!

Sam- Style of Sam, showed up looking so adorable in an all white look. I honestly forget sometimes how chic white looks in the winter. Imagine that outfit with a snowy background…love it!

Heather- So Heather, is wearing an outfit that would look great for meeting friends for drinks or dinner. Everything Heather wears is super fashionable and could pretty much be worn anywhere. I definitely think I need that belt in my life!

I am wearing an oversized sweater (not gonna lie…it’s about 5 years old) and jeans. I love the hat I am wearing, because it fits my head and face.  One thing about hats, you do have to find the shape and style that fits your face. I can personally wear this style, a little bit bigger floppy type, and a cowboy hat. I cannot wear a newsboy cap or bowler type, because I look plain silly in them.

Hats have become so popular in the last few years, that I would take advantage of wearing them for warmth, dirty hair, and of course for fashion’s sake! Don’t be afraid to wear them out to dinner. The only place I wouldn’t wear a hat, is in a theater type setting. The Brit’s have been wearing them forever, and I say we follow suit! What are your thoughts on hats?

I arrived in Austin yesterday to meet with our wedding planner (my daughter’s wedding) and to help my daughter and her fiancé unpack their house.  Do you remember how exciting it was to buy your first house and set it up? It’s a quaint cottage style home on a great lot and they are so excited! We have our work cut out for us this weekend!

Hope you have a great weekend! Thank you for reading! xx
