CHIC AT EVERY AGE// SEQUIN BOMBER JACKET

Happy Friday, all! I hope you have had a great week! Mine has been okay. I did something the other day that made me feel so sorry and embarrassed. Whenever I have a sponsored post, sometimes the brand wants to see a draft before it is posted. I submitted my draft for my last post (here) and then proceeded to publish it without getting the edits back. I don’t know why I did it; I just forgot I think, but it was a huge no-no! I love the brand, and hope that they will forgive me! Sometimes it’s hard to keep up with what I’m doing, and I don’t have an assistant, so it’s just me keeping up. Still, I should have taken a closer look at the contract and been more responsible. It’s made me think long and hard, and I feel like I have two options. I either need to hire an assistant, or I need to scale back, especially during busy times. I have felt horrible for days! Enough of my sob story…today, it’s all about Chic at Every Age and this sequin bomber jacket.
I know you all have heard me say it before, but I am so glad that sequins have made a comeback! It’s fun to wear something shiny and unexpected, especially during the day. When Heather and I were in New York in October, we found the sequin bomber jacket we are all wearing at Bloomingdales and snapped them up. We got back to Dallas and a few weeks later told Natalie and Sam to order them so we could post on them. We have had other posts that had to go up before this, so this jacket is now sold out. I know, and I’m sorry we had to wait, but, I have more for you to choose from.
A bomber or any sequin jacket is something that used to be worn only at night and to a cocktail party, black-tie event, or a wedding. I think to wear them during the day looks much fresher than wearing them in a way that is expected. Don’t get me wrong, I still like them for the dressier events, but it’s more fun during the day! As you can see, we all like wearing these jackets super casual.

I have to go to the chiropractor this morning. It’s my second time this week to see her. I have a pinched nerve right about where my kidney is on the left side. It’s been hurting for two weeks now, but after seeing her on this past Wednesday, I think I’m on my way to feeling better. We have our first Holiday party to attend tonight, dinner with friends on Saturday night, and then a carriage ride around Highland Park with all the kids on Sunday to see the Christmas lights. I can’t wait for that! I will put the best houses in my stories. If you have never been to Dallas at Christmastime, you should put it on your bucket list! It’s cheaper than London, and it might be almost as pretty! Have a great weekend! xx

Hi,Cyndi! I’m so sorry that we showed that bomber that was sold out. We shot it and then by the time we all agreed on a date, it was sold out. We have to pay for our photos, so it was agreed to post with “similar” items. If it were just me, I would have probably not posted it (I’ve done it plenty of times), but when it is with the other girls, it’s a group decision. I’m so sorry about that. I will take this suggestion to the girls for sure! Thanks so much and I hope you have a great day! xx
