Happy Saturday, everyone! I hope you had a great week! It sure has been a rainy spring here in Dallas. I love a good rainy day every once in a while, but not every day! It hasn’t rained every day, but it sure does feel like it. My mood and my hair need the sunshine! Today, the CHIC AT EVERY AGE girls are coming at you with the quintessential white button-down.

CHIC AT EVERY AGE// THE QUINTESSENTIAL WHITE BUTTON-DOWN

White button-downs are a wardrobe staple and have been chic for many years. Think Grace Kelly or Audrey Hepburn and Charlize Theron of late. A white button-down is what I reach for when I can’t figure out what to wear. It can be dressed up or down and worn with everything from shorts to ballgowns. They look great under blazers and most jackets and cardigans.

I have several styles of white button-downs in my closet. The particular one I am wearing is from Grayson and is a little more relaxed in feel. It’s perfect to wear with my jeans. I also have a more fitted button-down that looks nicer tucked into a tighter pant or skirt. The other style I have is a longer white button-down. It can be worn open (like Heather did above) with a tank under it or as a swimsuit coverup. I love the way Sam tied hers at the waist too! Natalie wore a longer white button-down as a dress, and it looks darling! You can never go wrong with a white button-down!

I was so excited to head to my daughter-in-law’s mom’s first anniversary yesterday of the medspa that she opened. It’s called Saltbox Apothecary. I love her so much and am so proud of her. If you live in Dallas (or close by), Ami is the bomb for botox and fillers. She is a true artist, and I don’t trust anyone else to stick a needle in my face! I also want to mention that Neiman Marcus has the most fun Farm Rio pop-up at the Northpark Store if you live in Dallas. So, I went yesterday, and it is so cute! I love Farm Rio and their happy pieces and bought this cute kimono. Also, I wish I were going to the beach now!

Have a great weekend! Stay well! xx
