HAPPY PRINT SKIRT

Hello, everyone! I hope you all had a great weekend!  I swear it feels like we live in Seattle. Also, I have never known Dallas to be this wet and gloomy. So, we went out to dinner (in the pouring rain) with friends on Saturday night, and that was about the extent of fun. Moreover, we have been binge-watching Queen of The South. Have you all seen it? It is a bit like Narcos (if you saw that), except the women are in charge! The story takes place in Mexico and Dallas, so it’s been fun to see Dallas landmarks. We have just started the third of five seasons, and I highly recommend it.

Also, you can see from my photos that there was a reprieve in the rain, and I got to shoot a few looks with my photographer. So, I wanted to show this happy print skirt while it was still available in all sizes. I love the color and pattern on it and was surprised that it was by Farm Rio when I looked. I know I’ve shown a good bit of Farm Rio pieces lately, but I don’t think this skirt screams their usual big prints.

It’s a fun run-around skirt to wear everywhere this summer. I paired it with a simple white tee (my favorite) and threw on a denim jacket. Remember not long ago that skirts were hard to find? Now they are everywhere, and I am so happy. I honestly love a skirt, maybe even more than a dress in the summer. I always pair a skirt with a tee or a tank and have a sweater or jacket on hand.

I posted on Instagram yesterday about a program called Anticancer Lifestyle Program. I wanted to share it on the blog as many people responded to the Instagram post. This program is for cancer survivors and those who want to reduce their risk of cancer or other chronic illnesses. This course teaches ways to reduce inflammation, improve the body’s natural defenses against disease, will help to supplement any necessary medical treatments, and empower participants to take an active role in their health and well-being.

Enrollment in Anticancer Lifestyle Program provides 60-day access to all course modules, and it’s COMPLETELY FREE! If you or someone you know is going through a cancer diagnosis or any chronic illness, please share this amazing program with them. There is so much great information and I thought someone may need it.

My daughter and boyfriend arrived back in Dallas last night after a month in Los Angeles. I was so happy to see her. No more traveling for them as they are down for the count for the baby’s arrival in July. I cannot wait! Also, I keep changing my mind on what it is, but I am still in the girl camp if I had to bet.

I hope you all have a great day! xx
