THE CUFF GOT ME
I hope everyone had a lovely Valentine’s Day! Mine was so nice, except for the weather. It couldn’t have been more dreary! My husband did take me out for a very nice dinner and it was so nice to just relax! I am going to be talking about sleeves a lot this spring. If you haven’t looked at a magazine or been out shopping, let me tell you, it’s all about the sleeves! I, for one, am so happy! I am a huge lover of a “show off” sleeve of any kind. Bell, ruffled, tied, whatever, I just love a sleeve with some sass, and always have!
This stripe blouse from Ann Taylor (under $100) with the mandarin collar caught my eye because of the colors, but then I saw that cuff and that was it! I think this blouse would be so pretty paired with a black or white suit, or a black skirt. I, of course, will be wearing it mostly with jeans! The bomber jacket is still strong for spring, so I threw on this one (under $100) that I already had. It’s just basic black, but it works with everything! I really haven’t gotten to wear my sweaters and coats much this fall and winter, because it’s been so mild, but I am ready for spring clothes! Do ya’ll have a favorite clothing season? Mine is fall, but I am ready to move on!
I am heading out to a breakfast this morning, then to shoot our Chic At Every Age photos this afternoon. I will be heading to the hospital in between. We think my dad might be released this coming weekend, but will see how the rest of the week goes. I hope you all have a great Wednesday! xx
