CHIC AT EVERY AGE // UNDER 100
Happy Friday Everyone! Hope you have had a great week! The Chic at Every Age gals are back at it today with everything under $100! We decided to challenge ourselves to find pieces that were $100 or less. I think we did pretty well. ( Okay, I did forget the purse and shoes, but I did link items below that fit the challenge). I think that everyone feels the same about clothes, shoes, and accessories… why does everything cost so much? Well, we are here to prove that you can get a great look without spending a lot of money.
20 something Natalie- The Fashion Hour, chose a Moto style jacket in faux leather, that looks just like the real thing. I love the green silky top she is wearing.
30 something Samantha- Style of Sam (my favorite look here) is wearing such a fun ruffle one shoulder top and light denim. I love that bag and her pink pumps!
4o something Heather- So Heather, is in the off the shoulder grey sweater and grey jeans. I can’t believe the sweater is less than $100, because it looks a lot more expensive.
I am wearing a faux leather drape front jacket, distressed tee, and cargo pants. My shoes are $35 over our challenge, but I linked a pair that is less. This jacket looks really good in person, and I love the cargo pants by Blank. I have several pairs of jeans from the brand, and they fit really well.
Sometimes it is true that you get what you pay for. I think you have to choose how you spend your money on your wardrobe. I would rather spend it on shoes and bags and spend less on jeans, tees, and jackets. I have found Nordstrom, Nordstrom Rack, Neiman Marcus Last Call, Saks Off Fifth, J.Crew Mercantile, and of course Zara, have some really great pieces for under $100. What are your “go to” stores for spending less?
I hope you all have a great weekend! Look for a special post on Sunday. xx
