AN ADORABLE AND AFFORDABLE BOYFRIEND STYLE BLAZER
Hi, everyone! How are you all and how was the weekend? We got our girl back from Thailand, and she was a sight for sore eyes! We were so happy to have her here over the weekend before heading back to Austin. She LOVED Thailand and looks and feels so much better! It was so fun to hear all about the Ashram where she stayed, the yoga program, the people she met, the food, and how she is changing her life for the better (in a healthy way). She came back a vegan! We all tried to eat that way this past weekend, and though I know it can be a healthy way to eat (all depends on your body type), I’m not sure I can go without fish and chicken. She’s also looking for cute faux leather shoe brands if anyone knows where she can get those. Anyway, today I am throwing some fall vibes your way with this adorable and affordable boyfriend style blazer.
An Adorable and Affordable Boyfriend Style Blazer
I am a Fall clothes kind of girl! Spring and Summer clothes are just a necessity for me. When August hits the calendar, I get so excited for Fall clothes, and all I want are plaid and fall colors (pumpkin spice is next!). Lately, I have been seeing plaid boyfriend style blazers everywhere from Neimans to H & M. I love this boxy style done in a menswear plaid and, did I mention how adorable and affordable it is? Also, I ordered these jeans (on sale) and loved the way they look with the blazer. I paired the blazer with a rust color tank (because it was scorching out) but will wear a tee with it most of the time in this rust color and white.
The Square Toe Is A Big Trend For Fall
The booties are my new fall purchase. They are a splurge (I thought about them for a month for purchasing), but I know I will wear them regularly. Additionally, they have a square toe (a big trend for fall) and a fun shaped lower heel. They are also available in black leather and green suede. The leather is incredibly soft, and they are so comfortable that I am debating about getting them in black as well. I am a size 8M in shoes and typically get an 8 1/2 in most boots. I took a 7 1/2 in these.
I have the busiest day today. First, I am shooting a few things for the blog this morning (trying to beat the heat) then running a lot of errands. Also, I have to pack, and that gives me such anxiety! I am headed to Florida tomorrow for a fun trip with Soma Intimates. There are eleven other bloggers/influencers going, and I am so excited to see one of my best buddies from Nashville, Brooke Webb, of KBStyled.com/. When I lived in Nashville, Brooke was one of two bloggers that I spent a lot of time with, and she is a doll! I am so grateful that I get to go on this trip. One of the best perks of blogging is getting to meet other women who do what I do. I have met some of the loveliest women and have made life long friends from all over the country!
Have a great Monday and stay cool and hydrated!

Hi Cathy, I love the overall look and the boots. I tend to stay away from square toes as they seem to go out of fashion quicker than say almond toes but they look really great.

Hi Cathy, I just want to thank you very much for inspiring me and my husband to sign up and finish a CPR/Choking class through the American Red Cross. I read your sad post several weeks ago about the man who choked to death at the party you were attending and I said that’s it! No more procrastinating about signing up for a lifesaving class. It’s something that has been on my list for years. Hopefully we will never have to use what we learned but if we do, we both feel comfortable putting the knowledge to use. Thank you again.
