Hi everyone! How is your week going? My brain has been more than a little fried since last week. We had to put down our beloved dog, Kensie, I drove to Austin and back, had twelve here for Mother’s Day, am having to re-do my website, and I forgot an important luncheon yesterday! Have y’all ever just forgotten to be somewhere that you RSVP’d yes to? I am so upset with myself! Anyway, today is a new day, and I’m going to start fresh and try again! It’s a good thing I am headed to Florida today for a little R & R. I need it in a bad way! Anyway, I am back today with a super cute and comfy shoe from my friends at, Adrian Allen. I know you all might remember the shoes here and here that I have written about in previous posts.
Today, I am showing a more stylish version of a ballet flat with a one-inch heel. It’s comfortable enough to run around in, but dressy enough to wear to the office or dinner. I love the nude snake print, but it’s also available in black. I chose to wear them with jeans (shocker!), but this shoe can be worn with dresses, skirts, or trousers. This shoe also has a removable ankle strap, a spacious rounded toe, that eliminates pressure on the front of the foot, thick padding from the ball of the foot to the heel to absorb shock, and arch padding. Sounds comfortable, right? The width of the shoe is a medium, and I would suggest going down 1/2 size because of the wider toe. The older I get, the more I want a comfortable shoe to live in (anyone else feel me?). Adrian Allen honestly makes the most comfortable shoes for day to day living. They are a small company, but I am pretty confident that there will be some new styles added to the bunch very soon! In the meantime, my feet are very thankful!
The weather forecast is not so good for Florida. It is supposed to rain the whole time we are there. I guess we will have to make the most of it and catch up on sleep; it’s a good thing that it is my favorite thing to do! If I can get out a little bit, I will be fine, but long naps seem like a dream to me about now! Hope you all have a great day! xx
Thank you, Adrian Allen, for sponsoring this post.
