BA&SH BRAND SPOTLIGHT

Happy Friday! How has your week been? I took a little break this week from posting on the blog, and I may be doing the same thing next week. I have collaborations where the copy has to be submitted weeks before, so, sometimes, I can’t get it all done, and I have decided to give my self a break instead of burning out. Other than taking a break from this blog, I have had a busy week! I am excited about the weekend, though! My husband and I attended Southern Methodist University (a long time ago!!!), and when we were there, we had a great football team. It went downhill after they received the “death penalty” and have not recovered until this year. SMU’s football team is UNDEFEATED as of this moment. We are going to the game on Saturday, and it’s honestly the only football team I care about! Go Ponies!

Today, I want to introduce and highlight a brand that I am loving! If you don’t know about Ba&Sh, let me introduce you! Two best friends created the brand to bring a dream wardrobe to life to share it with other women. It is a brand for women by women and distinctly Parisian (ooh-la-la!). They now have over 400 stores worldwide!

I absolutely love the maxi dress I am wearing. This dress is an original print with shiny gold threads running through it. It has a wrap-over neck, long sheer sleeves, front slit, and a black lining with adjustable straps. This dress is perfect to wear now, but it will be great for the holidays. I wanted to give it a bit of a western feel, so I added the belt and black suede booties. I think the dress works well with a belt! There are so many fantastic belts out at the moment, and Zara is a great place to find a waist style belt. The dress would be beautiful with a fur vest (faux version), blazer, or leather moto jacket worn over it.

I am going to try and catch up on some things around my house this morning because I am heading out of town this coming Wednesday and need to have the Halloween decorations out before I leave. The grandchildren are coming to town! WooHoo!!!!! My husband and I are meeting another couple for lunch today (that never happens), so my weekend will start at noon today!
