Hello, Monday! How was your weekend? Let me say that last night was SCARY! The tornado that touched down in Dallas was right in our neck of the woods. Actually, a few miles away! I have never heard sirens like I heard last night before. We are praying for all of the people in our area that had homes damaged. I haven’t been out of the house yet, but I’ve heard the devastation is horrible.

We celebrated one of our favorite friend’s birthdays (Debby) on Friday night, with an intimate dinner for four! It’s so nice when the husbands really like each other too! Saturday was so much fun as well! My team won and is still UNDEFEATED! I am not a huge football fan, but because I went to school at SMU and my dad played football there, I am a huge fan. I also love pulling for the underdog! Anyway, it was a beautiful and fun day!

I always feel like my closet lacks “show tops” or a little dressier blouses. I am always on the hunt for them. I went to a Coach event a few weeks ago that a friend invited me to but had no idea that Coach had changed so much. I found the blouse I have on plus this one to bring home with me. I was so impressed with what Coach has going on right now. It was still a bit on the warm side the day I shot this, but I will wear this blouse with my new black blazer over it. This was my other favorite blouse.

Do you all feel like you don’t have enough tops or blouses for evenings out? With the holidays fastly approaching, I have been perusing the web for fun tops. A few more that I have in my carts at the moment are this black velvet that I would wear with a jacket. This bodysuit is so sexy in an understated way and has an excellent price point. I also love this blouse in the tiger print. I have this print in theĀ tee and cardigan and wear them tons! I also think this is a great sparkle bodysuit to wear under a jacket or by itself. There is nothing more festive than a sequin top, and this multicolor one and the solid silver looks like a party! Oh, this sequin leopard is amazing! I also am obsessed with the color and cut of this satin top! Any of these tops are great for jeans or black pants of some kind.

I have to mention these Mary Jane’s I am wearing again. These are also byĀ Coach and are a collaboration with Tabitha Simmons. I just freakinĀ love them! They are so fun and very comfortable! I am generally a size 8M in a shoe, but I did go up a half size.

I am heading to my plastic surgeon this morning. Going to see what to do about my implant that has been recalled. It’s always something, but it’s still all good! I hope you all have a great Monday! xx
