WHY PONTE PANTS ARE THE ULTIMATE TRAVEL PANTS FOR COMFORT AND STYLE
Hello, everyone! We just got back from visiting our daughter and littles in Ojai Valley, California. They have been there for almost two years now, and we love it more and more each time we visit. It is such a special place! We were walking down Main Street, and Jason Segel (How I Met Your Mother and Shrinking) just stopped and started talking to us. He couldn’t have been more down-to-earth and kind. There are so many great restaurants, and the sunsets are insane, especially over the mountains, which actually turn pink. My husband and I both said we could live there if the taxes weren’t so astronomical. We loved being with our little granddaughters, and of course, they had fevers the entire time we were there, but that didn’t stop us from having a great time with them.
Speaking of travel… there’s one wardrobe piece that deserves a permanent spot in your suitcase: ponte pants. I am having a love affair with them, especially when I travel. They are a dream to pack and so comfortable to wear on travel days… or any day. The brown pair I am wearing is from Vince. They have a pintuck pleat and a kicky, cropped flare hem. I paired them with a knit cardigan from Rag & Bone, a chore jacket, and my most-worn sandal from last spring and summer (still available).
Some other reasons that I think Ponte pants are so fabulous.
- They are comfy like leggings, but look a lot more polished.
- They don’t wrinkle on you or in your suitcase.
- They are very versatile and can go from day to night with a change of top and shoes.
- They hold their shape all day so that you won’t look sloppy.
- They are flattering and smoothing, making it my number one reason for loving them.
- They work for every season. You can wear them with boots, sandals, pumps, or sneakers.
- They pack better than jeans, because they are lighter and easier to fold or roll.
I am on the hunt for a few pairs of ponte pants in spring colors. A few of my other favorites are from Banana Republic, and so many from Quince. If you want a travel wardrobe that feels comfortable yet looks polished, ponte pants are one of the smartest pieces to pack. They’re wrinkle-resistant, flattering, versatile—and they make getting dressed on the road incredibly easy.

I am heading out again this weekend to cross something off my bucket list. We are headed to Austin (for the hotel room) and going to Round Top. I have never been and have always wanted to go and experience it. I’ve been to Scott’s in Atlanta, but apparently, this is so much better. The bad news? It’s outside in a big field (with tents), and it’s supposed to be 93 degrees! A sundress, a hat, and lots of sunscreen will be the way to go.
I hope you all have a great day! Stay safe and Be well! xx
