BLACK AND WHITE CHECK PANTS
Good Morning, Friends! I hope you all had a great weekend! I mentioned on Friday that I thought I was getting a sinus infection…well, boy did I get one! I have never experienced my head or face hurting so bad. I got an antibiotic and am hoping that it will be on its way soon! We had dinner with sweet friends on Friday night, then Saturday morning I went to a two-hour class on SEO. What a joke for me! If you don’t know what SEO is, it is an acronym for Search Engine Optimization. Don’t worry; I didn’t realize until a couple of years ago. When I started the blog, it was really a hobby, but now that it is a business, SEO is essential for Google rankings. My head wants to explode from all of the information needed to play the game in this internet world! I’m not that great at it, but I am willing to learn what I need to know (and then I’m still not very good at it!).
One thing that I can do is pick clothes that I like, mainly these black and white check pants. I love gingham in the Spring and Summer, and when I saw these pants, I knew that I could pair them with so many things. Of course, any solid color (except beige) can be worn with them, but I think it’s interesting to mix in a print. I found this Ted Baker (Y’all know I love Ted Baker from this post) sweater and thought it would be great with the pants. I have linked a few other tops below that I like with them too. If you are in a corporate job or want to cover your bum, a longer jacket would be great worn over them.
One other thing that was so fun this weekend was that I got to attend a luncheon at Neiman’s on Saturday to meet the founder of Cinq a Sept. Cinq a Sept is one of my favorite lines, and it was so much fun to meet Jane Siskin and see the newest collection. I had no idea that Jane launched 7 For All Mankind and Elizabeth and James. Now, her baby is Cinq a Sept, and it is gorgeous. I have my eye on several things (like this and I die for this), and we should all buy this tee (means I like everyone)
I am off to New York this morning ( for 24 hours) for an event with Chico’s. They are launching a commercial that is brilliant (have gotten a preview) and it gave me chills. You all will love the theme!!! Okay, go make it a great Monday! xx

What a great outfit and I love the shoes! I too am struggling with the technical part of blogging! SEO is difficult! Have a great time in NYC! I’ll be there tomorrow night to meet some of the group and I can’t wait to hear about the commercial!

Love the pants! Have fun in New York – I love Chico’s, it is always one of my stops when I am in the US. Wish they would come up to Canada.
