BRAND SPOTLIGHT// SÉZANE

We made it back from Newport Beach last night to two dogs that really missed us and vice versa! My husband and I have become “those” people who don’t like leaving our dogs and are very particular about who we let keep them. They are like our children, and whoever keeps them has to send us pictures when we are away! I told you! Anyway, Pelican Hill Resort was fantastic and, honestly, the best place to stay for taking a breather. We spent a lot of time in the room in front of the fireplace doing nothing! I wanted to do more soul-searching, but between the Miami “aliens” and the Epstein list, I was on my phone a lot with some friends going back and forth. One thing I loathe is pedophilia and child trafficking! It makes my blood boil! We will see what comes of it!

Today, I want to spotlight a brand that I love called Sézane. I have been watching them grow for a while now and love their “French styles.” I discovered them a while ago when I read in Vogue that they loved Sézane’s denim. After reading that article, I ordered a pair of jeans, and Vogue told the truth. I love the brand for its chic pieces and its, affordability and sustainability. I picked out this beautiful olive green double-breasted velvet blazer that fits me perfectly in my usual size. It’s super soft and comfortable. It comes in several other colors (not all velvet) and is $225! I paired the blazer with Sézane’s “Perfect Slim” jeans. These are a high-waist traditional skinny style with some elastane for extra comfort. The jeans come in two lengths (one for taller women) and in three colors. I bought my original size, but the company recommends going down if you are uncertain. I like skinny jeans for wearing boots, but skinnier jeans look great with any shoe style.

I love so many pieces from Sézane! I have this beautiful leather bag in snake print (no longer available, but shown HERE) that is fantastic quality and a great size. This stunning suede “shacket” awaited me when I got home last night! It is so gorgeous and the perfect piece to take to Montana in the Spring! I’m going to order this beautiful lace shirt and this cardigan next. I haven’t tried any shoes yet, but I plan on it this year. I’ve read great reviews on them. Don’t miss out on their jewelry, too. Do you all hibernate a little bit in January? I definitely do. I like cleaning my closet and organizing things around the house. I’m a massive fan of the Container Store and will make a few runs back and forth there. It is literally around the corner from my house! I could walk! I have bought several of these hooks for hanging my jeans on. I fold them in half and hang them by the belt loop. They are great for bags, belts, and scarves too! I bought this hard-boiled egg timer after Christmas and will try it out this weekend. I’m the worst at knowing which way to boil an egg!
