BUSINESS IN THE FRONT PARTY IN BACK

Hello everyone! I decided not to Business in the Front Party in Back post this past Friday because of that horrific crime in Uvalde last week. It made me sick and saddened, and quite frankly, not in the mood to post on fluff. If you have followed along for a while, you know I have a hard time with that anyway. It hit home with me having rising second and fourth-grade grandchildren. I can’t imagine what those families are going through. I’m back to business today, but my thoughts and prayers will be with those families in Uvalde.

BUSINESS IN THE FRONT PARTY IN BACK

When I was in Los Angeles a few months ago, I saw this fabulous “business in the front party in back” silk blouse. I have several long-sleeved solid color blouses, but this one spoke to me loudly! How fun is it to give people a little surprise as you walk away. I love that this blouse can be super conservative for a business setting, but it is super chic after hours. The print on the back reminds me of an Hermes scarf and what you would wear strolling in Rome, Paris (I wish I were going!) or anywhere USA! I paired it with my favorite white denim (on sale), my favorite belt (which goes with everything), and THE most comfortable heeled sandals.

We have family over tomorrow afternoon for a cookout. Since February, this will be the first time that we have been able to have our family over because of our construction. Our room is completely finished (just waiting on the furniture). I heard a Gold Star wife comment on a news program that families don’t like to hear “Happy Memorial Day” because memorial is not happy. That really struck me, so I’m not going to say the phrase.
