ONE OF THE MOST FLATTERING DRESSES I’VE WORN
Hello, everyone! Can you believe it was ninety degrees in Dallas on Sunday? I hope we haven’t skipped over Spring and gone straight into Summer! It’s supposed to be back in the 70s again this week, and I’ll take it; however, we will miss some of it because we are headed to Columbus, Ohio, for a few days. We are headed there to attend the Celebration of Life for our dear friend, family member, and daughter-in-law’s mom. I honestly can’t believe she is gone and won’t be there anymore when we all get together.
I think I said it before, but this amazing woman set big shoes to fill as a grandmom, and I need to step it up for her. She and my son had an extraordinary relationship, and she had asked that only he speak at this event. It makes me cry every time I think about that! Today, she would have turned 60!
ONE OF THE MOST FLATTERING DRESSES I’VE WORN
On to happier things! When Heather and I recently went to LA, we got a photographer to shoot a few looks. I wanted to show you all one of the most flattering dresses I’ve worn by Norma Kamali. First of all, did you all wear Norma Kamali in the 80s or 90s? I sure did! In fact, I had a navy blue dress in early 2000 that looked very similar to the one here. I had forgotten about Norma Kamali’s dresses until I recently saw them. The dress I am wearing is called the Diana Gown, and it comes in so many colors (I’m wearing the Vintage Mint). I think I counted thirteen (on this page).
Anyway, It’s such a flattering dress with the ruching and one-shoulder style. I think this dress would be perfect for weddings, cocktail parties, or luncheons. Also, I wore it with this Jacket draped over my shoulders, but a leather moto jacket would be great with it as well. I will warn you that the dress has a built-in bodysuit. Also, I missed that in the description and put the dress on my head. It was not pretty! I got very stuck and almost had a panic attack. My husband rescue me! You step into the dress into the bodysuit. I ordered the dress in an XS.
Sandals from Sarah Flint
We both love the sandals we are wearing from Sarah Flint. Sarah’s shoes are so comfortable for a few reasons. First, they are designed by a woman, and second, most of her shoes have anatomical arch support, extra padding, and a wider toe box, and all of the shoes are made in Italy. I love her shoes, but I love her too! I’ve had the pleasure of meeting her a few times, and she is adorable. She started this company and is not even thirty-five!

I’m a little draggy today. I had the most fun girl’s night I’ve had in a while last night with a group of Dallas bloggers, plus one from LA. There were eight of us ranging from ages 45-to 69! There is such a great group here, and we had a blast! I don’t feel like traveling today, but we are out the door in a bit. I hope you all have a great day!
Stay Well and Be Safe! xx
