CHIC AT EVERY AGE-FAVORITE JEANS FROM NORDSTROM SALE
Happy Friday, everyone! I hope you have had a great week! Can I just tell you that I have been freezing all week (little overdramatic, but chilly for sure!)! We have had the coolest weather in Highlands, and I so hate to go back to Dallas, but it has to happen! You all are amazing! I asked for your feedback about how many times to post per week, and it was a unanimous three times! Thank you for that! Did you notice I only posted twice this week??? Sorry about that, but I am on vacay and needed a morning! Today, Chic at Every Age is showing our favorite jeans from the…wait for it, Nordstrom Sale! Are you all tired of the sale? I will say that things are getting real picked over or sold out.
The four of us love our denim! When I was shopping for jeans at Nordstrom, the girl that helps me pulled out sale jeans and regular priced jeans that have just come in, like this pair (which of course I bought), which lead me to ask her, what my problem is! She has the same problem so could not give me a good answer. What is it about jeans that I love so much? I remember about fifteen or so years ago that I thought to pay over $100 for a pair of jeans was ridiculous! Now, I think getting a pair under $200 is a steal! Why has my brain been conditioned to think that way? I sure am asking a lot of questions. Anyway, when the Nordstrom Anniversary sale comes around, you better believe that I am going to stock up on some jeans that are priced right! Let me say, that we don’t usually link to each other’s picks so I am guessing which jeans they are wearing (you can go to their blogs to find their outfits).
So, what did we come up with?
Natalie- THE FASHION HOUR– Wore a pair similar to this one with a white tee and a cardigan then really got into the spirit of fall with her suede boots!
Samantha- STYLE OF SAM– Chose the Good American jean that is already sold out, but this one looks very similar. She paired it with an adorable boucle fringe jacket and white pumps.
Heather- SO HEATHER– paired the same jean as Sam with a tee, leather jacket, and the same white pump. Sam and Heather are frequently showing up with the same pieces!
Me- I chose a pair of jeans that are still available in this color in most sizes. I very much like the way they fit and took my normal jean size. The Veronica Beard blazer I purchased is no longer available, but I have picked a few similar ones to show you below. You all know that I am a HUGE fan of VERONICA BEARD (and just bought this one for fall and it is gorgeous) because I love the way her jackets fit and the quality is so nice. This jacket is a good one too, and the zip in dickeys can be added to it. In my opinion, except in the heat of the summer, there is nothing better than a pair of jeans and a blazer. I feel that it always looks polished and classic. Since this post is really about the jean, I am linking my favorites that are still available through the sale below too!
I have a few more days here then back home. My sister in law wants us to go canoeing today. That should be interesting! I hope you all have a fabulous weekend!
