DAY TO NIGHT DRESS
Hey, everyone! I hope you all had a great weekend! I have to tell you all (if you don’t live in Dallas) how fricking hot it was this weekend. The temperature in my car on Saturday afternoon said 114! When it is that hot, even getting in and out of a car is miserable. I don’t know if it was the heat or the residual of the root canal I had on Thursday afternoon, but my head hurt until Saturday night. Yesterday, we had relief! Not in Dallas, but for us, as we made our way out of town and back to some cooler air. We are in the North Carolina mountains, and the temperature was 63 when we got here! Woohoo! Today, I wanted to show you this pretty day to night dress.
I am always searching for dresses like this one that you can wear day to night. I think this dress is great for brunch, a daytime wedding, a shower or any day party, then dinner, the theater, a cocktail party, or a more casual night wedding. Of course, the look will be different in the shoes you choose or the jacket you have on. This dress is by Ramy Brook, and I really like her silhouettes. I love how you can decide where you want this dress to fall by adjusting the elastic waistband. I like it a little longer, so I have the elastic more at my hips. I thought the color was stunning but found it in black and navy as well! I showed this beautiful lavender top last spring by the designer, and continuously wear it out for date nights. I know it’s sort of weird to put my favorite intimates picks from the Nordstrom sale on this post, but honestly, things are selling out so quickly that I wanted to go ahead and post them.
Question for you all that I would much appreciate the feedback on. Do you all mind getting three posts a week from me in your inbox or would you be happier with two (or none :)’)? I had a friend suggest two, and I wanted to know what some of you think. Thank you so much!

Dallasite here… went to dinner Saturday night to a restaurant three minutes from our home, it was too hot to walk so we jumped in the car and valeted it. You’re smart to get away. Love the dress, the color is beautiful, and you look gorgeous in it. Posts two or three times a week would be lovely. Thank you!

Boy, that is your color! The dress is gorgeous but the color is what attracted me. Especially how good it looks with your hair. So feminine and pretty! As for posts, absolutely three. I think your fans look forward to them and I, for one, benefit from them so bring it!
