FIVE ESSENTIAL JACKETS YOUR CLOSET NEEDS

Good Morning, everyone! How was your weekend? I hope you had glorious spring weather! I was in on Friday night but went to dinner with one of my best friends from High School on Saturday night. I love reconnecting with old friends! We have lived in different states and had not seen each other until recently and getting back together is a real gift! Something else fabulous that I did on Saturday, was a sound bath and acupuncture. Have you ever done one or heard of them? A sound bath is a gentle and powerful experience for the mind and body. Sounds are created by crystal bowls, chimes, and gongs. It is supposed to help with relaxation, meditation, and healing. It was amazing, and I will be doing them monthly! I went to Carpathia Collaboration in Dallas for this experience. Today, I am talking about the five essential jackets your closet needs for spring.

The Five Essential Jackets

In Texas, we sometimes experience bi-polar spring weather. I know in the North and East, you all can still be quite chilly, so there is still the need for jackets. I need a jacket year round even though I live in the hottest place in the world during the summer. Dallas loves to crank up the AC in every building you go in. Therefore, I am always cold. I think there are different types of jackets that you need in your closet during the spring (and even summer) months.

 Moto Jacket

First, is the one I am wearing, the moto jacket. Whether you get it in a fabric or leather, it can go over any bottom or dress and always looks chic.  Jean Jacket

Third, is a raincoat. April showers are sure to happen, and everyone needs a raincoat in their life. I found this darling one in blue, and this one will go with anything you put it with because it is clear. I have found that Zara is a good place to grab an inexpensive raincoat as well.

Trench Coat

Fourth, is the trench style coat. This is one style that I am missing from my closet (in a spring color), and I am getting one this year. Traditional trench coats in khaki, navy, and black are always great, but how about a gorgeous lavender for spring? This style comes in lavender and three other spring colors and is on sale for under $90. We all need this coat!

Military Jacket

The last jacket that I think is essential is a military green style jacket. Military jackets have stood the test of time in creating a fashionable look and are considered a classic that you will have for years.

I know you all are sick of hearing about it, but I had to get another round of antibiotics on Friday. I felt like crap on Saturday, but I think I turned the corner yesterday. Fingers are crossed because I have a busy week. I hope you all have a great Monday! xx
