Happy Holidays! How is everyone doing? We are getting closer to the big day! We have another party tomorrow night, but I am most excited about tonight. We have the little’s sleeping over tonight to make a Christmas treat and watch a Christmas movie.
Cold weather can affect your eyes
It’s no secret, I love the holiday season, but with the colder weather, it’s definitely becoming drier outside, and my allergies have been so terrible. My eyes feel so dry and watery that I have been wearing my glasses more.
Of course, I love holiday parties – I mean, who doesn’t? I picked this outfit to wear to tomorrow night’s party and am so glad that my fabulous Gucci frames with Transitions lenses complement this look. I love that my eyes can be comfortable and fashionable, so I’m not sacrificing style for function.
Protecting your eyes indors and out
While I prefer to be bundled up indoors, it’s important to remember that even though winter can be cold and gloomy, that doesn’t change the need to protect your eyes from the harmful blue light and UV rays emitted by the sun. I have heard of several people lately who have been diagnosed with melanoma in or around their eyes. Our eyes can still get sunburned year round!
Are you all mindful of protecting your eyes year round? I for one am so thankful that Transitions lenses make protecting my eyes a hassle-free experience every day. Because they filter harmful light and automatically darken when I go outside, they truly make life simple. The best part? Transitions lenses come in a variety of fashionable colors, so I don’t have to give up function in favor of style. Who’s with me?
I hope you all have a great day!
Thank you, Transitions lenses, for sponsoring this post. All opinions are my own
