J.JILL PURE JILL LUXE TENCEL COLLECTION
Good Morning Everyone! Hope you all are having a great week so far! I am so excited to tell you about a great collaboration I have been working on with J.Jill. I am sure most of you know or have heard of the brand, but if you haven’t, I am happy to introduce you to them and their Pure Jill Luxe Tencel Collection. J.Jill has been a specialty store of women’s apparel, shoes, and accessories for many years. I remember receiving their catalogues back in my twenties, and now they have about 250 stores in the United States.
This new Luxe Tencel Collection is amazing! I have mentioned before, that as I have gotten older, I only want to wear comfortable clothes. I won’t buy anything that is scratchy or stiff, and I have to be able to move around. These pieces are made with an exclusive fabric that is a blend of tencel, poly and spandex. Did you know that tencel is more absorbent than cotton, softer than silk, and cooler than linen? I had NO idea! It’s ideal for women that have sensitive skin too.
The four outfits that I am wearing, are my favorites from this collection. The first one is a cowl-neck tunic and easy pant. This is the perfect thing to throw on at the end of a long day (or to play with your grand daughter!) or run errands in. It fits the “athleisure” look that most brands are creating now. The second look is a long hoodie cardigan (love the color) and the same easy pant. I would wear this to a movie night out or at home. I am also wearing a three quarter sleeve white tee here. The third outfit is this precious knit tiered dress. It’s made to look like two pieces, but with the ease of one. It’s one of those easy throw on dresses! The last dress is my favorite. Isn’t the color gorgeous? This dress is so sophisticated and chic, and I could wear this out to any restaurant and feel appropriate. I could also put it on with my Ugg boots and curl up on my sofa. It feels like your most comfy robe!!!
All of these pieces, and all of their collections come in an array of sizes for most every woman. They offer, tall, petite, and misses. I promise you will be hooked when you try out this Luxe Tencel Collection!
I hope you all have a great day, and thank you so much for reading this post!

I have not been a fan, as I thought their quality has declined in recent years. BUT, these look good- so I will definitely take a look. Of course Cathy you look good in anything ….:-)

I found a 30% off coupon online, so I ordered the pants – seemed like a pretty good deal at that price, if they’re really comfy.

Hi Cathy,
This is Laura ~ we met at Epergne in Nashville! I enjoy reading your blog! I like seeing the clothes, but also the fun locations around town. Your granddaughter is an absolute doll. Hope your transition back to TX has gone well!

I used to love Jill-they had interesting clothes and occasionally something that was fun and funky. Now 95% of their tops are baggy unflattering tunics geared to the overweight. And don’t get me started on their ugly colors. Some of us work very hard to stay in shape and would appreciate shorter tops that actually have a waist. They lost me as a customer.

Hi Suz! I am sorry that you have felt like that, and I will gladly pass along to the J.Jill team. I think they would want to know that. I love the pieces that I am wearing, but you have to be comfortable in what you put on. Thank you so much for reading the blog!!!

Just found your blog…love it. I love the looks you chose as well. I have several things from JJill. However, I have noticed a decline in the quality of their product over the past few years. The wearever line doesn’t really hold up that well. I thought I might give the ponte knit a try. I’m concerned that many of their items require “lay flat to dry” care. That doesn’t make for easy care, especially when it’s a long item like the hoodie you’ve modeled. I love the simple lines, but I need easy care too! Since you seem to have JJill’s ear, please let them know that quality fabric (no pilling, stretching etc.), fabric drape (plays well with slimming undergarments), neutral colors, and mix and max capabilities are very important to older women when compiling a capsule wardrobe. I don’t mind paying more if I know I will have the piece for many years. Unlike SuzPow, I actually like the looser fit since I’ve gone through menopause. 🙂 I know JJill can’t please everyone. Thanks so much for your efforts!

I love your colorful scarf. Can you provide a link to that? Thanks!
