Happy Hump Day! Well, I have been so lame this week, but I do have a great excuse. I am in Ohio with my grandchildren and always put my time with them first! We came for our granddaughter’s 6th birthday, which was yesterday. There was a “Wizard of Oz” themed party for her on Sunday. It was adorable! My daughter in law and her mother had the outside of the house decorated up so cute! Evie dressed as Dorothy, of course, and her other grandmother dressed as the Wicked Witch. I dressed as Glenda, my husband as the Tin Man, and her other grandfather as the Lion. I’d say we are fun grandparents!

Today, I wanted to show this beautiful jewel-tone dress (with adjustable side ties) that I got a few weeks ago.

Not only is this one of those throw on and go dresses, it is a print with colors that are beautiful for fall but will be colors that you will see in Spring 2021 (jewel tones are big next year). Guess what? This dress is already on sale, and it is under $60! Throw on an oversized sweater over it and add boots, and it is great for winter too! As of this writing, it is available in all sizes. I am wearing an xs. This dress is from Anthropologie, but the price is almost like Target! It’s a fun dress to throw on for a little wine time on the porch!

We are headed to the airport in a bit and had to say goodbye to the grandkids as they headed to school. My little granddaughter does not like goodbyes and cried and cried as she left the house. It makes my heart so sad. They are coming to Dallas later in October so at least I have that to look forward to.
