JULIE VOS JEWELRY
Good Morning! I hope everyone is doing okay! We got back from Italy on Monday evening, and I am leaving again this morning for New York for fashion week. I must be cuckoo! I ordered two boxes of clothes to be delivered to take with me and nothing got here in time. I just threw a bunch of stuff in my suitcase and am going to wing it! I am too tired to even care at this point. Italy was amazing, and the wedding we attended was like nothing I’ve ever seen or will ever see again! Positano was incredible, but we decided we liked Lake Como better (probably because it was easier to get around). I hope I get to go back again! Today I wanted to show the dress I wore to the rehearsal dinner on Friday and the jewelry by Julie Voss.
I am a big fan of Julie Vos jewelry. The pieces are made of semi-precious stones, pearls, and imported glass, that are hand set in 24K gold plate over nickel-free brass that is sealed to prevent tarnishing. I am wearing this beautiful Byzantine Stone Necklace with a gorgeous aquamarine- blue cabochon stone that has trillion accent stones above it. I love the size of the chain. I am also wearing two of their bracelets. The first is the Byzantine Hinged Cuff in mother of pearl and pearl. This bracelet gently opens to fit all wrist sizes and comes in seven other stone combinations. The second bracelet is the Soho Link Bracelet. It has lightly hammered oval links with smaller studded connecting links, measuring 7.75 inches. It is available in all gold or mixed metal. I also have these Soho X Stud earrings that I have worn almost every day since I got them. There are so many great pieces to choose from, and I think my next piece will be either the Fern Drop Earring or the Siena Cocktail Ring. It’s not too early to start thinking about holiday gifts!
I love this dress I have on. It’s by A.L.C. and is what I wore for the Harper’s Bazaar lunch as well as the rehearsal dinner. It’s a beautiful green/gray color, and I think a very chic dress. I love how the back dips down a bit. The good news is this dress has been marked down, and there are still some sizes left. It is made with linen, but I will wear this until the end of September.
Off to the airport to catch my flight. I will be the one that looks like a mess! Hope you all have a great day! xx
Thank you, Julie Vos, for sponsoring this post

Hi, I’m looking for advice on how to tell if a Julie Vos item is a knock-off. Does every item have a gold tag with the name in uppercase letters and the initials in a hexagon above, or a gold tag stamped “julie vos” in all lower case letters in script? I thought maybe the tag in script might indicate a vintage piece. Also, should every item be stamped 24k gold plated? I am wondering because I have a necklace I am planning to sell and I don’t want to claim it’s authentic if it isn’t. Thanks so much!

Hi, Judy! I am not an expert on Julie Vos items, however, I have an idea for you. If you live in Dallas, I would take the piece to The Real Real or To Be Continued and let them evaluate it. If you are not in Dallas and live in a city with a reputable re-sale shop, I bet they can give you the answer. I would hate to tell you something and it is the wrong thing. Good Luck and Happy Holidays!
