RUFFLE TEE WITH PURPLE POPPY

Good Morning everyone! I don’t want to sound like a whiner because I brought this on myself, but I am really exhausted. I probably should have waited to go to New York this week and caught up on my jet lag, but I can’t change my decision now, so I am going to have to do some major catching up before Thursday! Why Thursday? We are keeping our grandchildren for four days! Do you think two weeks of traveling and staying up late or four days of keeping a three and four-year-old will be more exhausting??? Anyway, I hope you all are doing well! I also hope that no one was in Irma’s (that bitch!) destructive way. I know a lot of people who have homes in Naples, and I am praying there will be minimal damage!!!

Today I want to show this cute ruffle tee from my friends at Purple Poppy. They sent me the tee, and I am crazy for it! How many plain tee shirts do we all have? The ruffle on this one makes it so fun. It’s by Nation, which is a brand that I love because they are incredibly soft and hold up well. I show a lot of fun pieces on the blog, but I honestly live in tee shirts and jeans. This one just feels more special and comes in navy, gray, and black. I think the gray would be great to have as well, as it goes with all of those great colors that are so big this fall (red, mustard, green, and just about any color you can imagine). Plus, it’s under $100. Of course, I love a leopard print, so I brought out my leopard kicks (linked a similar pair below) to add a little more fun to the whole look.

I am off to unpack, organize a bit, and stare at the boxes I have yet to unpack in this house. I thought empty-nesting was supposed to be relaxing! Ha!!! I hope you all have a fantastic day! Prayers to all who have been in Harvey’s and Irma’s way and for those affected by 9/11. You all are strong people!
