Good Morning, and as my family would say, “Roll Tide”! My crew is still flying high after that win. My husband is from Alabama, and all of my children were born there, so the feeling is real. For me, I could care less, but, I am so impressed with that Freshman quarterback! I got chills when they interviewed him after the game! Anyhoo, I am freezing as I am writing this. Do you ever get chilled and can’t shake it? That’s where I have been for two days. Hopefully, with the temps rising today, my body will thaw out! I have had this fur vest for about five years now. I love it, but forget to pull it out and wear it. I saw this orange lace tee and for some reason thought about this vest, my white jeans, and these boots (that you may remember from this post).
Maybe the white jeans were a thought since it has been so grey outside and I needed some brightness. I am so glad the old rule about wearing white jeans after Labor Day is no longer applicable. I love white jeans in the winter, especially with a fur piece or a big chunky sweater. Speaking of furs, I have real and faux pieces, but I am getting ready to send some older furs (real ones) I have to Coats for Cubs! Coats for Cubs is an annual fur drive to aid in the rehabilitation of injured or orphaned animals in the United States. Donated furs are sent to the wildlife rehab centers where they are used for bedding to provide a more nurturing environment for the animals. Coats for Cubs in operated by Buffalo Exchange, who has collected tons of furs since 2006. Donations are being accepted at any Buffalo Exchange location between now and April 22. I love that they are doing this!
I have my good friend, Deanna (Well and Worthy Life), in from Birmingham for a few days. We will probably just be sitting at the house hanging out. Just kidding! I have so many places to take her and not enough hours! So happy when my friends come to town!
Hope you all have a great Wednesday! xx
