PRETTIEST “NIGHT OUT” TOP

Happy Friday, everyone! I think I blinked on Tuesday and now it’s Friday! One thing for sure this summer is that I have been out more nights than I have been home. Tuesday was my husband’s and my thirty-sixth anniversary! How in the world did that happen? We dated for four years before we got married, so do the math on how long we have known each other! We had a nice dinner at a new restaurant (to us) in Dallas, called Beverley’s. It was so nice and relaxed. I was out with girls on Wednesday, then my husband and I had dinner with friends last night (dessert three nights in a row…dang!). Because I have been out so much, I wanted to show the prettiest “night out” top I’ve had in a while because, well, I’ve been out!

The Top

This blouse is so romantic and dreamy with the voluminous ruffles. I feel like a cupcake! I love how flowy it is when you move! If you ever were to go shopping with me, you would hear me say, “I never have tops to wear out at night”! I always think it’s so hard to find them because either they are too expensive, or they look too young. So much of what I’ve seen lately are cropped for high waisted pants or skirts. What I am looking for, are tops that I can throw on with a pair of jeans and heels and look chic and sophisticated to grab dinner with my husband or friends. I think the top I’m wearing fits that bill because it’s such a pretty night out top!

Expand your wardrobe

Because I don’t ever feel like I have “night out” tops, I perused my favorite sites to see what I could come up with if you all suffer from the same feeling (am I the only one that doesn’t’ ever feel like my top game is strong?). I found some great tops, most of them being at reasonable prices. Just throw these on with a pair of jeans and heels, and you can probably go anywhere in your city!

I am out the door to shoot (and beat the heat) this morning and then getting a massage later this afternoon. I swear, every time I travel, I do something to my back or neck. Anyways, I have dinner out with a friend tonight, and we have a party to go to tomorrow night. Remember the man that I told you about who choked and passed away in my post on Monday?
