TIGER STRIPED

Hello Monday, here you are again! I hope you all had a great weekend! Ours was busy and fun! I had dinner with a good friend on Friday night, wore this lovely tiger striped cardigan, and explored Mediterranean food a little more at Sachet. Saturday night we attended a surprise party for a good friend who turned 50! I am so glad she joined “the club”! Her husband put together a fun dinner. In addition, fifty sure doesn’t look like it used to! As fun as our weekend was, the shootings that took place on Saturday saddened and sickened me. I don’t understand what goes through someone’s head to want to kill innocent people. I don’t know what the answer is, except to pray to God for the restoration of this country.

All about the cardigan

Today is all about this metallic lurex tiger striped cardigan that I am obsessed with. You may remember me mentioning the brand, Ganni, here. I love this brand based in Copenhagen and think they have such fun pieces that are wearable and (mostly) affordable. This cardigan is perfect to wear now and into the fall because it can be dressed up or down. I love the lurex shine! The cardigan is a continuation of my love of all things animal print! I have so much leopard, so a tiger print is a fun alternative. You know what Paris Hilton said, “Every woman should have four pets in her life. A mink in her closet, a jaguar in her garage, a tiger in her bed, and a jackass who pays for everything!” Hahahaha!

My real tiger

Tomorrow, I’m taking my puppy back to the vet to have her lungs checked. The last visit was almost two weeks ago, and my vet didn’t see any pneumonia, but when the radiologist read it, there was still a little left. I hope that it is totally gone. However, she doesn’t seem to act sick at all. We are definitely having a time housebreaking her! Some days she is so good and others, not so much. It sure does help that she is so stinking cute!

I am heading to Fort Worth this morning with my Chic at Every Age group to collaborate with Neiman Marcus. We are so excited and we each got to ask a few friends to come along for lunch and mini facials. I can’t wait to show you my fun outfit for the day!
