I am so happy to be sharing this post with one of my favorite bloggers, who happens to be one of my best friends, So Heather. Heather and I have had many lunch dates that end up shopping dates. We love to “window” shop for inspiration and ideas. We shopped the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale together and both called dibs on this ruffle stripe bomber jacket. Who cares if your good friend gets the same thing, right? It was either that or a huge cat fight in the store (totally kidding!) If I cared, I wouldn’t be sharing with all of you!
This jacket is the perfect weight to wear now and into the fall. The black and goldish copper stripe are neutral enough to go with so many things. Heather chose to wear hers with a black cami and jeans, while I am wearing mine with a black cami and black scuba pants. You can dress this piece up or down. I would wear a white or black tee and jeans with it or pop in on top of a black dress or skirt. I can even see wearing this over a long black gown. We are both wearing a size 0. This is still in stock in every size, and tomorrow the price will go back up.
Yesterday I spent most of the day packing boxes. I don’t understand how I have gotten so much crammed into a 2,000 square foot condo. I’m a little overwhelmed with this move. Most all of our life is in a storage unit and the rest is in this condo. If you’ve ever experienced storing the contents of your house for a while, you start to not miss or need those things. After all, that’s what they are, just things. We have had our “stuff” in storage for the last nine months and honestly, I have only missed a few things. Goes to show that you really don’t need a whole lot. I would be lying though if I said I didn’t want most of it in my house!
Back to packing up today. I hope you all have a wonderful and relaxing Sunday!
