Happy Friday! I hope you all have had a great week! I have to be honest with you all today. This week and probably every week for the next month is going to be crazy busy for me. I told you that I flew to New York on Wednesday for a job that I did yesterday, and am on my way back to Dallas this morning to spend the next week or so unpacking the house. My poor husband had to handle the move, and I feel so guilty about that. I will hit it hard this weekend. I don’t know why I feel like I have to have everything in its place immediately. I think it’s because I feel more organized on the inside if everything seems organized around me.

I wanted to show these Helmut Lang cropped flare scuba pants that I am obsessed with. In my opinion, these are the greatest pants I own! They hold you in, are so comfortable and pack so easily. They are a little bit of an investment, but I have had them for over a year, and wear them a lot. When wearing a pant like this, you do need to wear something that covers the top of the pant. They have an elastic waist and fit a little bit like a legging.  I fell in love with this peplum top by Co. If I could afford to buy all Co, I would! I love every single piece from this brand. The top is perfect for the pant, as it covers the hips (this one would be fun as well!). I will be adding a leather jacket over it for the fall. I think this is the perfect date night outfit!

FYI…I stayed in the coolest hotel in New York, called The Beekman. It’s down in the Wallstreet area close to the Brooklyn Bridge and Twin Towers Memorial. The hotel was built between 1881-1883. It has been redone and is such a cool spot. The architecture and art of the hotel are what makes it so interesting. If you are visiting New York, stop by this hotel to see the art and have a drink in the bar.

Hope you all have a great weekend! xx
