SIMPLE BLACK DRESS AND 3 FALL TRENDS I’M LOOKING FORWARD TO

Happy Weekend! I know most of you in the South are sweating your fannies off right now! I’ve been keeping up with the Dallas weather, and August looks normal and disgusting. We are still in Montana (sorry to say that!), and the weather has been so lovely here. We had a great few days with our grandkids here. They are the perfect age for where we are, and I met some new friends (all from California). They cannot wait to come back! We have a few more weeks here and are taking a quick trip to Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, next week. One of my daughters-in-law grew up there, and I’m embarrassed to say that we’ve never been! I’ve heard it’s gorgeous!

I wanted to show this simple black dress and fill you in on 3 Fall trends I’m looking forward to. First, this is the most flattering black dress! I tried it on, and my husband even (he hardly does) remarked how flattering it was! I knew it was a keeper when he spoke up about it. This dress is a column and draped style made of jersey knit and is so comfortable. I love that I can wear this dress now and add any style jacket when the weather gets cooler. This dress has a great price point and is also available in a coral red for an even better price. It’s one of those “no-brainer” dresses! I am wearing an XS. I am obsessed with this new (to me) handbag line called Aupen. I ordered the bag I am carrying in white a few months back and had to get this caramel color, too. It’s 100% leather and is so reasonable, plus many celebrities are carrying this brand (not that I care that much, but for reference). I have worn these tan/black combo sandals all summer long with everything! They look identical to a Saint Laurent pair I saw last year.

I have been perusing many websites and am excited about doing some fall shopping. I love fall colors and all of the gorgeous textures. There are three trends that I have in some of my carts that excite me the most (as of now). Leopard Print, Western, and Ladylike Chic. I only wish designers would get away from the “cropped” pieces (which are) still trending. I think trends are still important once you reach our age, but you don’t have to go full-out (unless you want to). I found pieces in the three trends that I love, and you can go a little or a lot this fall. I am also excited about handbags in the color burgundy, like this one and this one (she’s expensive, but she knows it!). Below, you can see some items I have in my carts. What are you most excited about for Fall fashion?

Today is my Birthday, and I am going to purchase a few of these items in my cart! Happy Birthday to me! I am also getting a birthday manicure because my nails look dreadful. I had powder dip on my nails for about six months and took them off two months ago. They are just now starting to get back to normal. I will never do that again (famous last words), but dang, they look so good with dip or gel!

I hope you all have a fantastic weekend! Stay well and Be safe! xx
