TUCKERNUCK FINDS FOR EARLY FALL

TUCKERNUCK FINDS FOR EARLY FALL

Happy Friday! I hope you all are having a great start to August. We are having a leisurely time in Montana. My husband has been playing golf and I’ve been taking walks and have gone to the spa a few times to work on my back (I’ve been dealing with sciatica for about a month). We have gone into Missoula a few times to pick up things that we have needed because we are in  “NO-WHERE’S-VILLE”, Montana. There is nothing here except a Safeway and a prison (seriously). Our oldest son, daughter-in-law, and grandkids get here tomorrow and I am so excited to see them.

I know it’s been super hot in Texas (into the 100’s) and not a great time to talk about fall and Pumpkin Spice lattes, but as we all know, time goes by so fast and it will be here in a blink of an eye. I wanted to show a few things that I am wearing and ordering for early fall from one of my favorite sites, Tuckernuck. Tuckernuck is a great site for women, men, children, and home. I am wearing this cute green floral dress (smocked at the neck and waist) that is great for now, but next month, I will be adding a denim jacket (how cute is this one) and a darker sandal. This is a great dress to wear now and into fall too!

I found this soft polo style sweater (comes in white and grey) that I am wearing to pieces in Montana. It’s very lightweight and I love the longer sleeve. I have never felt like covering my arms until recently. I can’t believe what is happening to my skin the older I get. It’s frightening! Anyway, I like that these sleeves are longer than most short-sleeved sweaters. I paired the polo with white jeans and sandals, but come next month, I will be switching to an off-white jean or wearing this polo with grey jeans (the Levis that I bought at the Nordstrom sale). How cute is this denim bag from M.Gemi? I am obsessed with it! It comes in ten other colors and I want to get another one (or two!). I think I have my sights on the burgundy.

As I said above, I am so excited for family to get here tomorrow. We have fly-fishing planned for the boys and the girls are going horseback riding. We are taking a “field trip” to a town close by called, Philipsburg. Apparently, there is the oldest candy store in the country there with all of the old-fashioned candy we used to buy and they make their own taffy and fudge. Sounds horrible! I also found out that Montana has sapphire mines. Who knew (not me!)? There is a jewelry shop in Philipsburg that sells sapphires, and you can buy a bag of dirt and mine for your own sapphire. How fun is that? My daughter has a September birthday (sapphire birthstone) and so does the granddaughter visiting. I am buying them both a bag of dirt for their birthdays.

I hope you all have a great weekend! Stay safe and Be well! xx
