SOFT SURROUNDINGS TUNIC

Hi everyone! Hope all of you have had a good week! I woke up this morning in Nantucket! We are here visiting  friends, and this Soft Surroundings tunic is the perfect thing to bring along. Not to make you envious, but the weather is supposed to be in the high seventies for the weekend and I am glad I have this to keep me a little warmer. I love the chevron design of this dark navy print, with the orange seed beads and sequins. Of course, I love it with the white jeans for summer, but think it will be great with a dark denim this fall.

I bet a lot of you are familiar with Soft Surroundings, but if you aren’t, let me introduce you to them. Soft Surroundings launched their first catalog in 1999. They are based in St. Louis, Missouri, and most of their fashions and bedding are designed there. Their philosophy is “We don’t use the word “pamper” because wearing soft, comforting clothes, sleeping on fine linens and soothing your body and mind should be an everyday occurrence, something you owe yourself regularly – not just a treat”. As I have gotten older, I hesitate to buy anything that is not comfortable to my skin. That includes what I put on my body and what I sleep on. Do you all feel the same way?

Soft Surroundings is kind of like a one stop shop. You can buy clothing, intimates, bathing suits, sleepwear,  jackets, as well as, jewelry and accessories, shoes, bedding and home, and beauty and fragrance. See what I mean? Some of my favorite things, are the Weekend Cardi, Favorite Lace Cami, Edyn Booties ,(wore these out last year…remember HERE?)/Souk Sandals, Ngala Bone Necklace, my favorite Chin & Neck Cream and Self Tanner (swear by this one!), and this Faux Mohair Throw.
