STRIPED SWEATER, VELVET SLIPDRESS AND A NORDSTROM GIVEAWAY
Happy Hump Day! How is everyone? I hope you all are well and no one is fighting off the flu. I’ve heard it is extra bad this year! Apparently, about sixty-four people have died in Dallas from it! Everyone wash your hands and avoid crowds! Do y’all ever get in a fashion slump? I am definitely in one now. I was out scouting around the stores yesterday, and it’s pretty grim. It’s hard to find things in between seasons to show on this blog. I decided to pull out this velvet slipdress from my Fall wardrobe and toss a striped sweater over it to dress it way down! I think I accomplished it with the sneakers. I’m so glad that I have this slipdress. I have worn it this way, and I wore it to a party with a white jacket over it. This dress looks good with a turtleneck or tee underneath, jacket over, or oversized sweater on top. This is the time of year that I try to shop my closet and play around with my outfits.

I just purchased my first pair of Golden Goose sneakers. I didn’t have an all-white sneaker and have really been thinking about getting a pair of Golden Goose for about three years now. I know these aren’t exactly all white, but the fleshy color star is subtle enough for me to wear them as all white! While these are pricey, they will last for a very long time. I didn’t know that each pair is made by hand! No wonder they are pricey but very comfortable!
I am so exhausted after keeping the grandbabies and the quick trip to New York last week, but don’t think I can catch up until this weekend. I’m so excited because tomorrow night my good friend and fellow blogger Debbie, of Fashionomics and I are taking a continued education class at SMU. We are taking a time management class and women’s coaching circle. We both (think I can speak for her too!) are in need of the time management class! Anyway, it should be fun, interesting, and hopefully helpful! We are excited to be “co-eds” for a few weeks :)))!
I started my workout with my trainer on Monday. Headed back to hit it again this morning. I am SO out of shape!!! I hope you all have a great Wednesday! xx
