THE BEST PLACE FOR ONE-STOP SHOPPING

Hello and Happy Friday! Are you all gearing up for the Eclipse on Monday? I don’t remember when there was this much “hoopla” over an eclipse. Dallas is on the path of this eclipse, and it looks like there will be an all-day party here. I’ve seen where businesses are shutting down for the day, and restaurants and bars are having eclipse-watching parties (although the weather doesn’t look great). I’ve heard that all of the hotels are sold out here. I plan to watch from my backyard and not get out in any of the craziness of it.

You all know that I love Quince and think it’s one of the best places to get quality cashmere at very affordable prices. Well, I have discovered that Quince has a lot more than cashmere. I took a chance and ordered this leather jacket to see the quality, and ladies, I cannot tell the difference between it and my leather jacket from IRO in the same color. I’m shocked at how good it is (it’s genuine leather), and the price is insane! I love the caramel color that can be worn all year round, but it also comes in black. I paired it with a white tee, pinstripe pants, and my favorite flat shoes. I know some of you aren’t going to like these pleated pants, but I like them! It’s nice to get out of denim every once in a while.

A few more Spring pieces that I think are great from Quince are this chambray shirt, these pretty linen pajamas, an organic cotton gauze shirt (in 7 colors), and these Italian leather pointed mules. What I wasn’t paying attention to at Quince was that they have an excellent Home section with bedding, cookware, and rugs. They also have suitcases of every size! I had no idea that Quince was like a one-stop shop! Mother’s Day is fast approaching, and there are some things HERE that would make great gifts for ME (haha)!

I mentioned that my best friend from LA was here last week. We did a couple of photo shoots and wanted to show you. Do you think we love our flats from Madison Maison? Honestly, these are the most comfortable flats I’ve ever worn. I know everyone’s feet are different, but I haven’t tried a flat in a long time because I could never find a stylish and comfortable one. I’m laying low this weekend after a busy few weeks. I say that, but then remember I am going to a soccer game tomorrow and then furniture and accessory shopping for Heather. She is moving into a new townhouse and asked me to help with the finds! It’s my favorite thing to do!
