DAY AND NIGHT LOOK FROM A FAVORITE BRAND

DAY AND NIGHT LOOK FROM A FAVORITE BRAND

Hello, everyone! Did you get a chance to see the eclipse (if you were in the path) yesterday? I didn’t think it would be that big of a deal, but let me tell you, it indeed was! Sitting in our backyard and watching how quickly it happened was amazing. The temperature cooled, the birds quit singing, and then the sun returned as quickly as it disappeared. It was such a memorable experience! Unless I travel somewhere else, this solar eclipse is probably the last one I will ever see.

Today, I wanted to share a day and night look from one of my favorite brands. Are you all familiar with Sandro and Maje? They are sister stores that two actual French sisters started. I have been a fan of both brands for a while now but gravitate a little more to Sandro. I love the pieces I’ve purchased there because they differ from what you find “everywhere” else. If you have followed along for a while, I bought this matching set last year and still love it! I always get compliments on what I wear from Sandro.

Let’s start with the white jeans. I had a slight come-apart when I saw these. I love the double waistband in denim on these jeans. These are a looser fit and are just so darn cool looking. The are produced organically and ban the use of pesticides and GMOs. I bought the French size 2. This pair of jeans looks classic paired with a navy top but treat them like any other pair of white denim. I also think they look better without a belt so as not to draw away attention from what they are. The top is from Frame (last year), but they still have it. This is a great look for lunch, brunch, or a casual dinner.

I love a matching set because it’s so easy (especially in a hurry) to grab the two pieces and go. Do you know when you see something, and it’s just an automatic YES? I had that feeling when I saw this matching set. I am in love with this floaty satin-looking cropped shirt (viscose and linen and not too cropped) and matching wide-leg pants (elastic waist) that are embellished with all-over rhinestones (even the back). Grey is a prominent color for spring, and this set is perfect for dinner out, cocktail parties, or even a wedding. I wore this with the most fun shoes (also from Sandro). I have already worn these metallic (holographic gradient) sandals so many times! How fun are they? They are actually comfortable!

Spring is so fun, and many activities and events are starting up. I am going to an event at Veronica Beard tonight, and the Veronica’s will be there. I always look forward to them coming to town. They are the friendliest and most personable girls! I have a dinner (business for my son and husband) on Thursday and a happy hour on Friday.

Have you all jumped on the Castor Oil train yet? I am trying to use it every night for a month. I’m about a week in, and I can already tell that it is helping my stomach (IBS-C)! I ordered castor oil, a pack, and a flannel insert from Queen of Thrones. I’ve heard good things about this brand. If you order castor oil or buy it from somewhere else, make sure it is organic and comes in a brown glass bottle. Castor oil is supposed to be a healer for so many things. I’m using it on my eyelids (supposed to help cataracts, sight, and eyelash growth), my face and eyebrows, and my lower stomach. Once I get through the month, I will report on it. Email me if you are using it and if it has helped you!

I hope you have a great day! Stay well and Be safe! xx
