Happy Wednesday! Do you all get nostalgic like I do this time of year with school starting? My grandson started kindergarten today, and it seems like yesterday that I was taking the obligatory photo of my children’s first day of school. Where does time go? I used to roll my eyes when my grandparents told me that time goes by faster the older you get. I know one thing for sure, they were right! When “back to school” starts, it always has me thinking about fall clothes (shallow, I know, but true!). Fall is my favorite season for weather, colors, clothes, and yes, pumpkin everything! When I walked into Veronica Beard a few weeks back, I saw it, the prettiest fall blazer! This tweed blazer looks every bit as sophisticated as a Chanel blazer without the price tag of one. I love that you can wear every color top with it, and the piping and buttons are gorgeous.
Blazers are something that I am getting ready to wear on rotation. My favorite look for fall is a great pair of jeans, a pretty top or tee, and a great blazer. Blazers just kick everything up a notch! An outfit like I have on can be worn so many places. I think it is essential to have solid blazers in your wardrobe, but a unique blazer like this tweed will catapult your look into one of chic sophistication! It’s still 100 degrees in Dallas, and my outfit looks like “no fun” right now, but as I have said before when you see something you love, it’s best to grab it before it sells out! I know I’ve worn these loafers since last year, but they are still around this year and have been well worth my investment. I’ve worn them so many times!
I have found a few other tweed jackets that I think are worth looking into below at all price points.
I am off to do an interview this morning, and I am about to pee my pants, because of nerves. I forgot to ask if I can talk about it, so I will fill you all in soon! Say a prayer that God will give me the right words to speak if you are so willing! Thank you in advance!!! I hope you all have a wonderful day! xx
