Happy Friday! What does everyone have planned for Valentines Day? We will be in Dallas celebrating it, but most importantly, celebrating our grand son’s third birthday (which is tomorrow). I can’t wait to squeeze him!!! I think we will be having a romantic dinner with our kids and grand kids!

Two weeks ago, I was in Dallas for a conference that I mentioned in a previous post. The day before, my friend Tanya invited me and a few more blogger friends to have lunch at Casa Rubia in Trinity Groves (a  15-acre restaurant, retail, artist and entertainment destination located at the base of the Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge in West Dallas). We got to taste the new menu, and it was beyond!!! Casa Rubia is a Spanish restaurant with a regional Catalan focus. I can’t remember how many courses plus dessert we had, but it was a lot! Then we headed around the corner to Kate Weiser Chocolate to have chocolate (yep, after we already had dessert!) and champagne. Kate’s chocolates are works of art, and you kind of don’t want to eat them because they are so beautiful (but you do anyway)!!!

I had a great day spending it with these girls (“The Squad”)! It was such a beautiful day that we all broke out some “springy” outfits. I had gone to a few days before, and found the beautiful blue jacket I am wearing, which I paired with their ruffled top (it’s available in cream and a lighter blue now). has stepped up their game as of late. I love their “, and these (which I am saving for a later post, but I suggest getting them now, because things sell out quickly!)! I also went crazy for the cute silver I am wearing (from ). I have had a few people ask me which designer makes them. Haha, they are $80, but look like a lot more!!!
