TWEED BLAZER FOR SPRING
Good Morning, everyone! I am writing this post from sunny LA! I flew in on Friday afternoon after a very busy morning with my grandchildren in Dallas at their school’s Grandparents Day. It was so precious, and we had a great time looking at everything they accomplished during the school year. We were all together in the chapel when they read off everyone’s grandparents’ names. I loved hearing what everyone is called. I was the only Kitty in the bunch! After a fun morning with the grandkids, I met up with my younger son and headed to the airport. We flew into LA for him to meet the new baby (and meet up with his wife) and for me to visit for the week. I had not seen the new baby girl since the week she was born, and boy, has she changed! She is beautiful, and her smile is as big as the sun!
To top off a fabulous weekend, my BFF from Alabama flew in on Saturday to stay until today. We had so much fun shopping, eating, and just catching up. It was the perfect weekend! I will stay for the rest of the week and return on Saturday. I brought along this adorable structured tweed blazer! This blazer is both feminine with the luxe gold buttons and cool with the frayed details. Tweed is one of my favorite fabrics to wear in the spring because it’s warm enough to keep you cozy on a chilly day but light and airy enough when it’s warmer. I paired the blazer with a sleeveless tee, white jeans, and gold sandals to pick up the gold buttons. I have also worn this blazer with blue denim and a white button-down. I would also wear this blazer with ivory-colored pants or over this dress. Tweed is a stylish fabric that can add a touch of sophistication to any outfit and last for years to come.
My friend leaves early this Morning, and I will go into full grandmom mode. I can’t tell you how much I love these little girls! The next few days are all about them! I am, however, meeting up with my friend Janet and shooting some content with her. It’s always a fun time! I hope you all have a great day!

What a beautiful tweed blazer! I love the colors and I may be a bit biased on that since I just love yellow. Sounds like you are a busy bee! Definitely enjoy every moment with your grandkids. They grow up so fast!

I have not been around your site for very long. I recollect browsing it a whilst back, but that had been a lengthy time ago so I forgot the scenery lol.
