Good Morning everyone! Today I am partnering with The Walking Company. When they reached out to me, I was a little hesitant about doing this, because I have to be honest, I thought The Walking Company was for “older” people who needed orthopedic shoes. Well, I was wrong! The Walking Company is the leading national specialty retailer of high-quality, comfort footwear. They offer a selection of premium comfort brands including ABEO, ECCO, Taos, and more. I was asked to go to the actual store and get a fitting and would be choosing a few pairs from ABEO. ABEO has become the world’s fastest-growing comfort footwear brand (had no idea). ABEO infuses advanced biomechanical technology into modern shoe designs for comfort and support to enhance overall wellness. When I arrived at the store, I stood on a mat and was given a scan of my feet (scan below). I had no idea that my arches are so high! No wonder my lower back hurts!
I was shown the best shoes for my arch comfort, and the two pairs I am wearing are what I chose from ABEO. I loved this little leather bootie to wear with my jeans. This boot has arch support for increased stability, balanced weight distribution, reduced foot fatigue and reduced shock and stress on joints. These will be going with me when I travel from now on! They are super stylish and are water resistant and of course super comfy. I can actually feel the arch support.
The second pair I am showing is this adorable velvet sneaker from Kenneth Cole for ABEO (it’s actually on sale too!). This sneaker has metatarsal support to provide enhanced arch support, with added ball-of-foot metatarsal support. It’s great for high arches like mine! Not to mention that it is super cute and so on trend.
I am so glad that I got a chance to go to The Walking Company and get the scan of my feet. I learned a lot about why my back could be hurting. My chiropractor has been telling me to lay off the shoes I have been wearing and get into something more stable. I was under the impression that I would be wearing “old lady” shoes. I don’t know about you, but these don’t look like that to me! If you have The Walking Company close to you, I would stop by and get a scan. It doesn’t cost anything, and you will learn something about your feet, plus you can take a look at what is in the store. If you don’t have one nearby, check out the website here.
I hope you all have a wonderful day! xx
Thank you to The Walking Company for sponsoring this post. My feet have never felt better!!!
