Happy Hump Day! I told you in Monday’s post that I am going to be wearing a lot of dresses this summer! It did cool off a little this week, but I know what Dallas summers are like and because of it, flowy dresses are going to be my fashion staple! This morning, I woke up in New York for an event/collaboration that I will be putting on my Instastories. If you are a new mom, grandmom or are attending a baby shower in the future, you will like what I am here for! However, I did not need this dress in New York. It’s in the 60’s right now, and that means a leather jacket for me! I digress…back to today’s look and this white dress.
I had not been in J.Crew in a while, so I stopped in last week. J.Crew has so many dresses right now, I tried on several and will say, that very few fit me. Honestly, I think there are some sizing issues going on. I’m not a large person, but when 00 is still too big, there is something wrong with the sizing. The dress I am wearing was one that did fit me (still it is a 00). J.Crew has a new line in the store called Point Sur. From what I can tell, it started as J. Crew’s line of denim that is made in Los Angeles, and I guess they have expanded the line. I thought the white dress was so feminine with the flutter sleeves and embroidery. It is an all cotton lined dress and is $138, perfect for date nights, lunch, church, or running around!
I have to be at the event at 10:00 this morning, so I am out the door for a little exploring before it starts. I hope you all have a fantastic day! xx
