WHITE SUMMER SKIRTS

 

Hi! I hope you are having a great weekend! We flew to Montana on Thursday and will head home tomorrow. We came to buy some furniture for a little place we bought in Deer Lodge at Rock Creek Cattle Company. We have been members for about five years but finally bought a place in September. My husband is in heaven because there is a fantastic golf course and great fly fishing. I don’t play golf, but I will occasionally go fly fishing (I am not good at it). My favorite thing to do is ride horses; however, it’s been super windy and cold this weekend, so that was a no-go. We are planning on spending more time here this summer.

Last week, my post was on black sundresses, and today, I’m featuring white summer skirts. I found this balloon skirt at Zara, but it is already sold out. This one is so similar. I love the bubble hem! As much as I love wearing black, I also love white for the same reason, and that is that it’s like a bare canvas to add to. I paired the skirt with a white tee, denim jacket, and the most comfortable and posh wedges from Margaux. A white skirt is a great summer staple because they are timeless and never go out of style. They are incredibly versatile and can be styled for various occasions. During the summer months, staying cool and comfortable is crucial. Most white skirts are made from lightweight and breathable fabrics to help keep you cool but still looking chic!

Is my little Goddog cute or what? I claimed the Godmother role as soon as my friend Heather got her! She has the longest curled eyelashes I’ve ever seen on a dog! My husband has headed out to fly fish with the temperature at 31 degrees this morning. That was a HARD pass for me. I’m hanging out until it (hopefully) warms up so that I can take a walk.
