Hi Everyone! Today is my thirty-first wedding anniversary! I am a very lucky girl, because I am married to the most wonderful man. He has put up with a lot of sh*t with me at times, but has hung in there like a champ, and I am so grateful!!!  I couldn’t ask for a more loving and caring husband! We are taking a trip later in the fall to celebrate, but having a romantic dinner tonight at a place that we have been dying to try, called . I am wearing this blue cotton and lace dress that I got on sale from Net -a-Porter, a few weeks back. I love how feminine it is. I can dress it up or down, which is a plus with any purchase (especially a dress). I think it will look so cute with flat sandals too!

So tomorrow I am going under the knife and getting brand new “girls”. This is the last step in the cancer journey (except for doctors appointments every three months). I am excited, but also a little nervous! My doctor is performing a procedure called  . Since I don’t have any feeling in my boobs, I’m not worried about that part. What I am a little scared of, is the removal of my “Lat” muscle. The whole thing comes out to protect the implants that will be put in. My doctor warned me that it will be painful(thanks!) I googled pictures of latissimus muscles, and it looks like a huge hunk of tenderloin…YIKES!!!

So, due to my “fun” day mentioned above, I am taking a break from posting my blog next week. I am hoping that I will be high on pain meds! Well, on second thought, it might be fun to write while on meds! We will see!

Have a wonderful day!
