ARCHITECT AND DESIGNER CRUSH- BILL INGRAM

Hi Everyone! I hope y’all had a good weekend! I was a “bad blogger” last week. I don’t know what happened with the week, but for some reason I never had time to sit down and write. I seriously don’t know what has happened to the summer thus far! I must be making up for last summer, and my lack of it!

I was in Birmingham visiting a friend a couple of weeks ago, and took the opportunity to meet with my architect/designer crush, . Not only do I adore him for his creativity, but just for being him! I have known him for a while now, but am always so impressed by his work. Bill started out in residential architecture with Bobby McApine in Montgomery, Alabama. He  then moved to Birmingham in 1995 and started his own firm. Bill has the ability to create beautiful structures that stand the test of time. Repeat clients are the proof of this, as much of his business is from them. I particularly love how he melds a mixture of “old world” and modern together.  Another great benefit of using Bill, is that he will not only  design your home, but will decorate it too!

Bill was recently named by Veranda magazine as ADAC’s Southeast Architect of the Year. He has been featured many times in Southern Living, House Beautiful, Veranda, Atlanta Home and Garden and Gun. I can’t think of a more deserving person for all of these accolades than Bill.
