One of the fun things about coming back and forth to Dallas from Nashville, is meeting up with my blogger friends. When I started this blog, I was pretty much by myself….but as the months went on, I started to meet some bloggers more my age. These girls have been my lifeline in this crazy blogging world. I know that may sound weird, but blogging can be a very lonely business. We are all trying to create a brand for ourselves, but we have to do it alone. That means working alone (most of the time), and no one to run ideas by.

The girls in the photos above are very special, and have made this blogging thing a lot more bearable for me. Sometimes I can get down in the dumps doing this, but all of these women have been so positive and encouraging. If I hadn’t started this blog, I would have never met them, and I love them all!

While I was here last week, we all went to the loveliest luncheon that Tanya of FILM FASHION AND FUN hosted at Neiman Marcus for Prabal Gurung. We all got to catch up there, but the day didn’t end. We met up for a Girl’s Night Out for drinks and dinner at SAVOR at Klyde Warren Park in Dallas. It was a total gab fest with a lot of laughs, and some instructional pointers on how to use Periscope (thank you Erin!). I’m amazed at how many social media outlets there are!
