CHICO’S GIRLFRIEND JEANS

Kathy Kaehler// Me // More Than Turquoise // Catherine Grace O // Chic Over 50 // Fabulous Over 40 // So What To Twenty
A couple of weeks back I flew to Los Angeles for an adventure that will stay with me for a long time. I got to participate in a campaign for Chico’s with six amazing women that I can now call my friends. I had met Catherine O’Connell on Instagram last year, and she talked me into coming to her home in Hermosa Beach this past January along with a spunky woman from Salt Lake City, named Shauna Robertson, to talk about a Fierce 50 campaign she wanted to start. After meeting her and Shauna, I was hooked and would do whatever she asked of me! Catherine is one of those people that is so genuine and caring that she makes you a better person just by being around her. Shauna is a little firecracker and one of the sweetest people I have ever met. These two have become two of my dearest friends in a very short period.
So back to California for the Chico’s shoot I went and got to meet four other women who are now friends. We all met in a gorgeous wildlife park in Redondo Beach for an afternoon picnic and some girlfriend time. The girls that gathered are all fabulous bloggers, whom I already knew from their blogs, but this day I got to meet in person. Catherine of Catherine Grace O, Shauna of Chic Over 50, Deborah Boland of Fabulous After 40 (who came all the way from Canada and who I had already met at a conference last year), Jamie Lewinger of More Than Turquoise (from New Mexico), Glenda Harrison of So What To Twenty (from California), and Kathy Kaehler of Fit And Sexy For Life (actually has a talk show in Los Angeles). All of these women had joined in Catherine’s vision of the Fierce 50, which I had posted about here.
We all were dressed in Chico’s clothing, and it was fun to see what everyone had chosen to wear. I particularly loved Shauna’s outfit! That blue and white stripe top with lace sleeves is amazing! I loved the geometric bell sleeve blouse I was wearing too! And of course, we were all in Chico’s girlfriend jeans! I am loving Chico’s newest arrivals for Spring and Summer! They have the prettiest flowy, bohemian, and fringe tops!
The day had to end with all of us going our separate ways after just getting to know each other. I know we will all keep in contact with each other and support one another. I have said it before on this blog, that the best part of blogging for me has been meeting such amazing women! If I hadn’t started my blog, then I would have never met these women, and that would be a real shame! The contacts and friendships that have been formed are truly a gift to me. Thank you to Chico’s for valuing that aspect of it as well and for sponsoring this post! You all really seem to get it!!!

Can you please provide a link directly to the pair of girlfriend jeans you’re wearing? Your link goes to a whole page of girlfriend jeans and I don’t know which one you’re wearing.
Thanks.

Hi Wendy! Of course, sorry about that… http://rstyle.me/n/cip72hu9d6. I am a size 0 and had to get the 000. They run on the really big side. Thank you for reading!

I’m sorry, I don’t mean to be a pain, but those are straight leg jeans, not girlfriend. Is that correct?
Thanks so much.

I love your entire outfit pick- you look great! This question is a bit off topic- but I really like your shoes and was wondering how comfortable you thought they were and if they are easy to walk in. I generally wear flats or just a slight heel but thought they look so cute and would go with so many things. Thanks so much for your thoughts!
