Hey Everyone! I hope you all are enjoying this cool, but really weird weather! We were in Highlands, North Carolina starting Wednesday of this past week to visit my in-laws, but also for my husband to play in a golf tournament. We visit Highlands every summer in July and it is always such a nice reprieve from the Dallas heat. This trip was the strangest weather I’ve ever experienced there. We got there with sunny skies and cool temperatures, but by Friday, the rain had started, and it never stopped until Saturday night. The real kicker was the temperature. The high on Saturday was 61 degrees. It was freezing and of course I didn’t have the right clothes! Needless to say the golf tournament was cancelled.

I wanted to show an amazing top by a favorite designer of mine, Nicole Musselman of KOCH. You might remember this post a few weeks back when my cute friends and I visited her showroom. We all picked out another favorite from her Fall/14 line. This top was mine! It’s a sample size, so was a little big for me, but I think you can tell what it is supposed to look like. I love how she took a menswear type fabric, and “girled” it up with the fringe and handkerchief hem. I really like it with my white jeans, but for fall and winter, I would pair it with black leather leggings, or a skinny black pant. I would also add  a shirt underneath for a layered look.  I think I need to order it! What do you think about it? And how gorgeous are the ring and bracelet I am wearing? They are on loan from Szor Collection Jewels. I die!!!

Back to the heat of Dallas today (heard it was unusually cool this past weekend). Love to travel, but hate the traveling part! Have a great day!
